April was born in North Carolina where she lived for only 3 months before she began her first, of many journeys. She moved to an Air Force base in Keflavik, Iceland with her parents and from there, it would seem she never stopped moving. Having lived in 15+ homes and traveled to almost 30 countries, April has grown to love and appreciate the world's raw beauty. She is amazed over and over by the fact that although no two people, cultures, or nations are alike, we are all united by our shared human nature. She is allured by several art forms, such as painting, writing and photography. For this reason, her degree is a collective study focused on mixed-media. April currently lives in Philadelphia where she is a freelance artist for local businesses and film/video production companies.
